Route: Poznan – Wroclaw – Ksiaz – Auschwitz – Krakow – Zakopane – Wieliczka – Rzeszow –

Lancut – Lublin – Kazimierz Dolny – Warszawa – Zelazowa Wola – Gdansk – Sopot – Malbork – Torun – Lowicz – Warszawa

Day 1

Arrival to Poznan in the morning hours. We start our city tour here from the Old Town Square (the third largest in Poland) with its renaissance Town Hall, then we stroll towards Ostrów Tumski with one of the oldest cathedrals in Poland and many churches. After that, we are going to visit neogothic Kornik Castle.  Dinner and overnight stay in Poznan.

Day 2

Breakfast. Departure to Wroclaw – capital city of the Lower Silesia region, situated on the Odra river with many canals. We take a short, introductory walk around the Old Town. After that, half-day excursion trip to Ksiaz – the third largest castle in Poland called „the Pearl of Lower Silesia”, located on a enormous rock cliff. Back to Wroclaw. Dinner and overnight stay in Wroclaw.

Day 3

Breakfast. We start our day from guided city tour of Wroclaw.  At first, Ostrow Tumski – the oldest part of the city, then the Main Square with the biggest Town Hall in Poland, Aula Leopoldina and Panorama Raclawicka – a “must-see”, monumental (15 x 114 m) painting, depicting one of the Polish battle from XVIII century. Dinner and overnight stay in Wroclaw.

Day 4

Breakfast. Transfer to  Auschwitz (Oswiecim) – visiting the largest former nazi death camp, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. Drive to Krakow. Dinner and overnight stay in Krakow.

Day 5

Breakfast. Guided city tour of Krakow including Main Market Square (the biggest medieval square in Europe), Basilica Mariacka, the Cloth Hall and the Old Town. On the afternoon, short stroll towards Kazimierz – former jewish district. Visiting the Wawel Hill – the former royal residence and one of the most important historical place in Poland. You can literally touch history here while strolling around Royal Castle or Cathedral with graves of former Polish kings. Leaving Krakow and transfer to Zakopane. Dinner and overnight stay in Zakopane.

Day 6

Breakfast. Excursion to the Tatra National Park – you can see there mountain tops, beautiful landscapes. Then, we make a visit to Chochołow village with its extremely attractive wooden architecture. After that, we take a cable-car onto Gubałowka Hill. Leisure time on the Krupowki Street. Dinner in traditional restaurant (karczma) and overnight stay in Zakopane.

Day 7

Breakfast. Drive to Wieliczka to visit the salt mine, listed on the Unesco World Heritage List. First notes about the salt mine comes from XI century. Transfer to Rzeszow and short sightseeing of the Old Town. Dinner and overnight stay in Rzeszow.

Day 8

Breakfast. Excursion to Lancut and visiting the magnificent complex including palace, many buildings, surrounded by spacious park, with the collection of horse-drawn carriages.  Transfer to the Kazimierz Dolny – small, charming town for dinner. Overnight stay in Warsaw.

Day 9

Breakfast. Departure to Warsaw (Warszawa). Sightseeing city tour of Warsaw – capital city of Poland. We start from the Royal Castle – completely destroyed during WW2, fully rebuilt after the War. Short walk towards Barbican and after that – transfer to Łazienki Palace and Park, and the palace of Wilanow – beautiful baroque palace from XVII century. Dinner and overnight stay in Warsaw.

Day 10

Breakfast. Excursion trip to Zelazowa Wola  and visiting the house of the most famous polish pianist – Frederic Chopin, located in a romantic countryside. Drive to Gdansk short, introductory walk around the Old Town. Dinner and overnight stay in Gdansk.

Day 11

Breakfast. All day sightseeing tour of the Tricity: at first, Gdansk with its famous Old Town with Dlugi Targ and Mariacka streets, Oliwa Cathedral, the shipyard – birthplace of the “Solidarity” union , Westerplatte – a place where the WW2 began. Then, we take the route onto Gdynia – visiting the harbor of Gdynia and at the end – visiting Sopot, one of the most famous Spa resort in Poland. Dinner and overnight stay in Gdansk.

Day 12

Breakfast. Departure for Torun – birthplace of the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus; en route sightseeing of Malbork castle – the most impressive Gothic castle in Poland, former residence of the Teutonic Knight’s Order. City tour of Torun – Old Town and Nicolaus Copernicus house. Dinner and overnight stay in Torun.

Day 13

Breakfast and departure for Warsaw.  En route a visit to Lowicz – well known from its colorful, local art.  Leisure time and farewell dinner in the restaurant in the Old Town of Warsaw. Overnight stay in Warsaw.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
