Route: Prague – Warsaw – Krakow – Wieliczka – Oswiecim – Vienna

Day 1

Arrival to Prague on your own. Accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:

Breakfast. All day sightseeing tour of Prague: the Old Town Square with City Hall, the Charles Bridge, St. Charles Church, cruise the Moldau River with lunch in buffet form (not included in price, payable additionally 28 €/person), the Royal Castle in Hradcany, the cathedral of St. Vitus, the Royal Palace, Romanesque St. George Basilica, street the Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower, former prison, district Mala Strana. Free time. Overnight stay in hotel in Praque.

Day 3:

Breakfast. Departure to Warsaw in Poland. Warsaw is the capital of Poland and also the main political, cultural and economic centre. After arrival, accommodation and overnight stay in Warsaw.

Day 4:

breakfast. The city break of Warsaw with the local guide: the Old Town – fully reconstructed after WW2, placed in UNESCO World Heritage List as a fine example of a full reconstruction with some authentic fragments. During the stroll around we will see  the Castle Square, Zygmunt Column, the Old Town Square, the statue of the mermaid, the Krakow Suburb street, the Presidential Palace, monument of the Prince Jozef Poniatowski. Transfer to Lazienki – one of the most beautiful palace and park complexes in Europe. During a short, relaxing walk, we can see there the most famous building of the complex, the monumental Palace on the Water (the former private residence of the Polish kings). Departure to Krakow, accommodation and overnight stay.

Day 5:

breakfast. All day sightseeing tour of the Krakow with local guide. Krakow is former capital of Poland and the main city of Malopolska region. Visiting the Wawel Royal Castle – former residence of Polish kings. We will see beautiful State Rooms, the Crown Treasury and the Armoury. Next, the Wawel Cathedral with the most known bell in Poland – Zygmunt’s Bell and the Tombs of the Kings. Later the stroll around the Old Town Square – one of the biggest in Europe, with the famous Cloth Hall named Sukiennice (13thcentury) and Gothic Saint Mary’s Church with the Wit Stwosz beautiful gothic altar inside. At the end of the day excursion to Wieliczka and visiting the Salt Mine (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List) – one of the oldest active salt mines in Europe, operating since the 13th century until now. Back to the hotel in Krakow. Overnight stay.

Day 6:

breakfast. Departure to Oswiecim. During the day we will visit Auschwitz – Birkenau Museum. This former German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp, although not very easy on the eye, it is a must-see in Poland. Placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979, it was the largest of all the Nazi death camps. We can see prison blocks, the remains of the gas chambers, and the crematorium in Auschwitz. The visit continues after a short break and the visitors can go up to the watch tower in Birkenau part to see the panorama of the camp. Departure to Vienna – the magnificent capital of Austria. After arrival accommodation and overnight stay.

Day 7:

breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Vienna with local guide: the Opera House, the Hofburg – the beautiful palace and former residence of Royalty in Austria, Burgtheater – build in 18th century. Later walking around the Old Town where are located the Town Hall and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Departure from Vienna, overnight travel to home on your own.
