Warsaw – Vilnius – Riga – Tallinn – Helsinki

 

Day 1

Arrival to Warsaw on your own, accommodation in a hotel and overnight stay.

 

Day 2:

breakfast. Our city break of Warsaw will start with meeting the local guide. Warsaw is the capital, the largest city and also the political, economic, cultural centre of Poland. During the World War II the city was totally destroyed but have been reconstructed in post-war times. In sightseeing program: the beautiful Old Town with the Castle Square and Zygmunt Column, the Old Town Square with the statue of the famous mermaid. Then stroll around famous street Krakow Suburb, where are located Presidential Palace and monument of the Prince Jozef Poniatowski. the Cathedral Of St. John – one of the oldest churches in Warsaw, built in 14th-century. After that visiting the Palace of Culture and Science – the tallest building in Poland with the terrace on the 30th. Transfer to Lazienki – the famous baroque palace and park complex. Lazienki has been built by King Stanislaw August Poniatowski. Visiting the Palace on the Island, the Old Orangery and the Royal Theatre with audiobook. Overnight stay in Warsaw.

Day 3:

breakfast. Departure from Warsaw. Travel to Vilnius – the capital of Lithuania. The city is located in the southern part of country by the Neris River. Arrival in the late afternoon. Accommodation in a hotel, free time for leisure and overnight stay in Vilnius.

 

 

Day 4:

breakfast. Time to discover Vilnius with local guide. A stroll around the Old Town – national historical heritage, one of the biggest medieval old towns in this part of Europe. Walk from Cathedral Square with the famous Cathedral build in classicism style in the centre of square, through narrow streets of Old Town to Vilnius University – one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe, founded by Jesuits in 16th-century. Next visiting the Museum Of Genocide Victims founded in the former KGB building, showing the dark history of Lithuania – the loss of independence, repressions of the soviet and obtaining independence. Drive by the riverside to Hill of Crosses, place of pilgrimage visited by Pope John Paul II. Departure to Riga, the Latvian capital by the Daugava River. Overnight stay in Riga.

Day 5:

breakfast. Sightseeing of Riga with local guide. Visiting the Old Town with beautiful narrow streets, characteristic medieval buildings and different styles of architecture such as Romanticism, Gothic, Mannerism, Baroque or Modernism. Visit to the Art Nouveau district of Riga. In the afternoon and in the evening free time for leisure, discover more of Riga on your own or participation in optional excursion to the Latvian Open-Air Ethnographic Museum with traditional architecture and cultural elements (not included in price, payable additionally 50 € /per person). This is one of the oldest and largest ethnographic museum, established in 1924 and located 1-hour drive from the capital of Latvia. In the price of excursion included are visiting and lunch with one drink (coffee or tea). Overnight stay in Riga.

Day 6:

breakfast. Departure from Riga. Travel to Tallinn by the coastline of the Gulf of Riga. After arrival in the afternoon to the capital of Estonia meeting with your local guide. Visiting the Old Town from 15th-centruy, the Gothic Town Hall and the orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral built in the end of 19th-century. Walking tour along the famous street Rannamae and Nunne where you can see city gate Pikk jalg. Overnight stay in Tallinn.

Day 7:

after breakfast departure from Tallin to your country.
