Route: Berlin – Poznan – Warsaw – Czestochowa – Auschwitz – Krakow  – Budapest – Vienna – Prague – Potsdam – Berlin

 

Day 1

Arrival to Berlin. Accommodation in hotel. Overnight stay in Berlin.

 

 

Day 2:

breakfast. All day the sightseeing tour of Berlin – the capital of Germany, with local guide. The program of visiting included: Kurfürstendamm – the main street, the Reichstag – the parliament building, the Brandenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Charlottenburg Palace – palace and park complex, Siegessäule – the Victory Column in Berlin with a height of 67 meters. After that visit in the protestant church of Kaiser Wilhelm and drive along Unter den Linden boulevard where are located the German State Opera House and Checkpoint Charlie – a famous border crossing point during the Cold War. Overnight stay in Berlin.

Day 3:

breakfast. Departure to Poland. Along the way to Warsaw, a short stop in Poznan. Visiting the historic river port in Poznan. Arrival to Warsaw in the evening and overnight stay.

 

Day 4:

breakfast. The city tour of Warsaw with local guide. Visiting the Old Town with Old Town Square, Castle and the Cathedral Of St. John – one of the oldest churches in Warsaw, built in 14th-century. After that visiting the Palace of Culture and Science – the tallest building in Poland with the terrace on the 30th floor. Drive to neoclassical complex of palace and park – Lazienki. Overnight stay in Warsaw.

Day 5:

breakfast. Departure from Warsaw to Czestochowa. The city of Czestochowa is very often called as a spiritual capital of Poland. Visiting the most famous and most important Marian sanctuary in Poland – Jasna Gora, with its Sanctuary of Our Lady of Jasna Gora. It is believed that the miraculous painting of Black Madonna – that is placed in the Paulins monastery – was painted by Luke the Evangelist  himself. Pope John Paul II visited that holy place many times, as well as Pope Benedict XVI. After that, transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay in Czestochowa

Day 6:

breakfast. We start the day with an excursion to the Auschwitz – Birkenau Museum. This former German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp, although not very easy on the eye, it is a must-see in Poland. Placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979, it was the largest of all the Nazi death camps. We can see prison blocks, the remains of the gas chambers, and the crematorium in Auschwitz. The visit continues after a short break and the visitors can go up to the watch tower in Birkenau part to see the panorama of the camp. Transfer to Krakow to overnight stay.

Day 7:

breakfast. Sightseeing the Krakow with local guide. The stroll around Old Town with Sukiennice – the medieval Cloth Hall. Visiting the Gothic St. Mary’s Church with altar made by Wit Stwosz. You will have a chance to see from the outside the Wawel Royal Castle – the residence of Polish kings. At the Royal Cathedral situated on Wawel Hill there is a well-known bell in Poland – Zygmunt’s Bell. Next stop is the historical Museum of Oscar Schindler Factory. Then walking tour of the Kazimierz – district of Krakow’s Old Town, where have been filmed the scenes of the “Schindler’s List” movie. Later visit in Remuh Synagogue and Jewish cemetery. Overnight stay in Krakow.

 

 

 

Day 8:

breakfast. Departure from Krakow to Budapest – Hungarian’s capital and the largest city, located by the Danube River and near the Buda Hills. Budapest is a beautiful city where you can enjoy the view of different architecture styles such as Roman, Turkish, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Classicist and Art Nouveau. In the evening optional cruise along the Danube River includes buffet dinner and drinks on board (additional price 68 €/person). Great opportunity to see traditional Hungarian architecture. Overnight stay in Budapest.

Day 9:

breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Budapest with local guide, during which we will see the representative boulevard Andrassy Avenue, the Thermal Baths of which Budapest is well known and the Jewish synagogue – one of the largest in the world. Visiting the Fisherman’s Bastion and admiring the beautiful view from its tower. Next stops in the tour program are Church of Matthias Coronation built in the 13th-century and the Heroes’ Square – one of the major squares in city. Overnight stay in Budapest.

Day 10:

breakfast. Departure from Budapest towards to Bratislava – the capitol of the Slovakian Republic. Meeting with local guide. Visiting the medieval Old Town, Bratislava Castle built in 9th-century. Visiting the gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral, Grassalkovich Palace known as Slovakia’s White House – the former residence of aristocracy and nowadays there is Presidential Palace. Departure from Bratislava to Vienna. Overnight stay in Vienna.

Day 11:

Vienna – the capital of Austria. After arrival, meeting with your local guide. Our discovering of Vienna starts with driving along the city. During the day you will see Prater Park – the largest park in city, elegant street Ringstrasse, the State Opera House, the Jewish district of Vienna and the Hofburg Palace (from the outside) – winter residence of the Austrian Emperor with its famous square Heldenplatt. Later visiting Schoenbrunn Palace – wonderful complex with gardens and palace from UNESCO World Heritage, great place for nature lovers. Visiting interiors of Palace. At the end of our tour we will see the St. Stephen’s Cathedral – one of the symbol of Vienna. Overnight stay in Vienna.

Day 12:

breakfast. Departure from Vienna to Czech Republic. Arrival to Prague and meeting with your local guide. Visiting the Royal Castle in Hradcany district, former residence of Czech kings and queens. Next is gothic cathedral of St. Vitus, Old Town Square with City Hall and famous Orloj clock. Overnight stay in Prague.

Day 13:

breakfast. Departure from Prague. Crossing the border with Germany. Stop in Potsdam and visiting the beautiful complex of palace and park. Transfer to Berlin. Overnight in the capital of Germany.

Day 14:

breakfast. The end of Eastern Europe tour. Back to your country on your own.
